Who We Are

RICH HILL CHRISTIAN CHURCH is an independent body of believers who love Jesus and others and are committed to the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We have no creed but Christ—Jesus alone is our hope, our life, and our salvation.

We look to no book but the Bible—it is our only rule of faith and practice; it is inspired and infallible, dependable and sufficient.

We belong to no ecclesiastical organization—we are a truly free, self-governing church led by our elders, our pastor, and a church board.

Leadership

Our local church is led by elders, our pastor, and church board.

The elders are responsible for the spiritual leadership of the church, devoting themselves to the teaching of the Word and to prayer (Acts 6), caring for those who call RHCC home.

Elders: Don Swope, Barrett Case, Joe Boyles, Tyler Black, Richard Kithcart (email elders)

The church board is congregationally-appointed and is responsible for the business decisions of the church.

Board Chairman: Landon Swope

Our Pastor

Barrett Case has served as pastor/elder of Rich Hill Christian Church since October 2010. He served as preaching pastor, associate pastor, and interim pastor in churches throughout Kansas before moving to Rich Hill. He loves to proclaim to Good News of Jesus Christ, loves to see God call people to Himself, and considers it a privilege to minister to the people God allows him to serve. Barrett is proud to be involved in various community organizations in Rich Hill and Bates County and to serve on the Board of Directors for Show-Me Christian Youth Home.

Barrett was born and raised in Greensburg, KS. After high school, Barrett went to Manhattan Christian College and graduated in 2005 with a B.A. in Pastoral Ministry. The biggest blessing in Barrett's life is his beautiful wife Meghann, who serves alongside him, loving and caring for the members of RHCC. Meghann is also the friendly Church Secretary at RHCC.

In August of 2018, the Case family grew exponentially with the addition of four incredible children: Magal, Miracle, Patience, and Makai. The Lord is faithful! On April 28, 2020 the adoption was finalized, with friends and church family there to celebrate.

The Cases look forward to spending the rest of their lives in Rich Hill serving the Lord and this small, but wonderful, part of Christ's Church.
